How To Adopt
Your first step is to have a look at some of our rescue cats and dogs, then get in touch with us by email, Facebook message, or call us to arrange a visit to meet the rescue animals available for adoption.
There is a process for adoptions to make sure the animals go to compatible homes. We have to make sure everyone is happy and that the animals and families are perfect for each other.
When we meet, we will discuss all the criteria and introduce you to the animals available. You also have the peace of mind that at any time if things become difficult or the unexpected happens, you can bring your pet back to us so we can ensure they have the best care and are never abandoned again.
When you take home a new family member from us at Animal Mama, you can be assured that your new furry pal has had all the health treatments possible.
Our professional and experienced vet team ensure that your kitty or pooch has been:
- Fully Vaccinated
- Treated for Fleas
- Treated for Ticks
- Treated for Other Parasites
- Desexed (if old enough)
- All data stored on the Passpet App database
- Our Veterinary Doctors also test for FIV & FeLV (negative) in cats as standard
We also provide you with all the information and support you need to make this exciting time a happy, stress-free, and successful one!
What Does It Cost?
Adopting an animal is one of the most amazing things you can ever do! We always say #adoptdontshop for a reason and it doesn’t make sense to buy an animal from a breeder or ‘pet farm’ and pay towards what can often be a cruel profit led industry when there are so many abandoned animals who are in desperate need of a loving home. Adopting is the ONLY way to go.
There is no cost involved to you other than purchasing food, leash etc, but we do have a recommended donation of $50. We pay for all the treatments and procedures involved to make your fur baby ready to go home with you. Buying a pet would cost up to $1325 from a breeder or pet shop, but when you adopt, it can be $0 or whatever you feel comfortable donating.
Come visit them today and see why ‘Rescued’ really is the best breed! 💚
