Hope

Hope is one of over 25 rescued animals at Animal Mama Veterinary Hospital & Pet Wellness Center who are looking for a loving forever home.

She has been with us for a while now and has done so well, growing from a timid and terrified dog meat survivor, into a loving, affectionate, and trusting companion. We rescued Hope just hours before she would have been killed for dog meat.

Now she has a chance at a happy life and is looking for a family to share it with. Is that you?

We would love for you to meet Hope, so get in touch or pop in anytime, we are open 7 days a week #15, Street 500, Phnom Penh.

Noodle

Noodle’s mama was used for breeding and sadly gave birth and later died of eclampsia and severe internal bleeding and after a poor diet and care.

When she was brought to us it was too late for us to do anything for her. Then, three weeks after being born, we received another visit from the ‘owners’ who brought in Poodle Pup’s sister from the same litter.

She was in shock and with severe malnutrition. With terrible diarrhoea, no mama to feed her properly, and a low fever, she also didn’t make it.

We heard they had one more puppy – Noodle – and asked to take her as they could not look after her properly and she was suffering. So the breeders surrendered Noodle to us.

After treatment and care, she is now fully recovered, completely healthy, and ready for adoption.

Mike

Mike was found tied up and abandoned at an empty property in Phnom Penh. His ‘owner’ moved out of the property and left Mike behind with no concern for what would happen to him.

Luckily, Mike was found by the landlord when he came to check the property after 3 days. He was tied to a post without food or water and left alone outside.

The landlord brought Mike to us at Animal Mama Veterinary Hospital & Pet Wellness Center and of course, we took him in and have been looking after him for the past 2 months.

Mike is such a mellow dog, is great with other dogs, and is socialised with people. He loves Mr Sarath and always welcomes him with a big hug!

Would you like to adopt Mike? Can you offer him a happy home and a promise that he will never be abandoned ever again? Find out how to Adopt here.

Kittens

We have many cats and kittens all waiting for you to take them home! Every day, sick, injured, and abandoned animals find their way to us at Animal Mama. We rescue them, rehabilitate them, and make them ready for a loving family.

All our adoptions go to their new homes fully vaccinated, treated for fleas and parasites, dewormed, desexed, and microchipped with all her information entered into the Passpet database.

We still have over 25 animals like this little one who are looking for a family to love them, so pop in and meet them! Find out how to Adopt here.

Brainy

Brainy was knocked over by a car and brought to Animal Mama by a lady who saw him on the side of the road. He was in a coma and when he finally came around, he was unable to even lift his head up. Brainy’s skull was broken, his temperature was 40.9 degrees, and his skin and fur were completely removed from his shoulder as he was dragged along the road.

It took Brainy two months to learn how to lift his head and sit down. Once he learned to sit, Brainy would lean against the wall for support and edge himself along to get to his food.  After another two months, he was able to walk on his own.

Brainy is just one of many ‘special’ residents at Animal Mama and he will stay with us indefinitely. If the right person can adopt him and give him the time and attention he needs, then we would consider rehoming him. Until then, Brainy will always have a place in our heart and our home.

If you would like to help Brainy and sponsor her stay, please make a Donation here. Find out how to Adopt here.

Hercules

Hercules was tortured and abused, before being left to die at a local pagoda. Animal Mama and the team heard about him and immediately went to rescue him. When we found him, Hercules was badly burned over most of his body, some of his toes were missing, and his testicles and his nose had been cut off. Hercules suffered many other injuries all over his body.  After months and months of care and rehabilitation with us, Hercules is recovering so well.

He is such a brave and affectionate boy and we love spending time him. It is beyond us how an animal like Hercules can endure so much abuse from humans yet still be so friendly, trusting, and full of love for us.

Hercules is just one of many ‘special’ residents at Animal Mama and he will stay with us indefinitely. If the right person can adopt him and give him the time and attention he needs, then we would consider rehoming him. Until then, Hercules will always have a place in our heart and our home.

Panda

Panda was found in a ditch by a Khmer girl. She had a broken hip, was covered in severe mange, and was infected with parvovirus. Panda had to stay in quarantine for 2 months but she recovered from Parvovirus! With physio and lots of love, she started to walk and now we cant stop her!

Panda is just one of many ‘special’ residents at Animal Mama and he will stay with us until we can find her the right home. If the right person can adopt him and give her the time and attention he needs, then we would consider rehoming her. Until then, Panda will always have a home at Animal Mama.

If you would like to help Panda and sponsor her stay, please make a Donation here.

Lindy

During a trip to Siem Reap, we received a message about a puppy called Lindy, who was found all alone in a schoolyard with a broken back. Julie, the animal rescuer who found Lindy, has been working with other local people to care for her, but she needed specialist care and rehabilitation. We went along to check her health and size her up in case she needed a wheelchair in the future.

It was agreed that Lindy would come to stay at Animal Mama and would have to have a wheelchair if she was to walk freely again. Now she is enjoying daily wlaks and runs with her new wheels!

Lindy is just one of many ‘special’ residents at Animal Mama and she will stay with us indefinitely. If the right person can adopt her and give her the time and attention she needs, then we would consider rehoming her. Until then, Lindy will stay with us and get all the love she deserves.

If you would like to help Lindy and sponsor her stay, please make a Donation here.
